I'll stick to my theory that we're all going to die because some dumbass is going to press the wrong button anyway. It's not like Korea didn't use up almost half of their entire supply of Plutonium in that insanely small detonation they did. All we need is a few assassinations, a competent UN, and we're good. Armies really don't need to be a necessity, unless, of course, an Orson Scott Card situation comes up and you need to destroy some alien culture currently burning the shit out of china.
To prove my good buddy Admin's point, yes. The way I was brought up, in the house I'm being brought up in still, there is no order. My word is as good as the next loudest person's, and I like it that way.
Not that I don't enjoy the good feedback of a rifle slamming back into your shoulder, but I really don't feel like you not having enough spices, to use a metaphor, is a good enough reason to take away human lives. Disregarding the fact that I hate several people enough to kill them, I think it is the person's choice whether or not to serve in the armed forces, and sooner or later, the army won't be able to make anyone do anything they don't want to. Recyclable as meatshields FTW.
